    OTC Accounts Receivable Associate

    Grow with US within our Order to Cash team who manage and carry out the entire order to cash process for Europe.  Working within a team of 20 associates, you will specialise in either of the following areas:

     

    WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

     

    Working within our OTC team as Order to Cash Associate you will be part of our success by:

     

    Customers and Operations:

    • Code non defined deductions in EU market
    • Scan and store debit note/trade invoices provided by the Customers
    • Prepare and send ad hoc reports to local markets with the open deductions
    • Direct trade invoices to the right approver in the Local Market (depending on the market)
    • Process Non-Trade Deduction (Pricing, Delivery Issues, Rebates, Bonus Quantity Discounts, Disallowed discounts, Price Claim  and Penalties/Customer Charges) analysed and validated by Local Markets: clear valid deductions (offset/write off), split deductions (partially valid), and mark deductions as invalid
    • Manage the Overpayment process
    • Manage the end-to-end rebates process as well as recharge (transport) procedures
    • Write-off aged deductions
    • Conduct trend analysis to drive continuous improvement related to deduction processes and systems
    • Maintain a constant focus on achieving and surpassing established metrics
    • Ensure consistent application and adherence of all Kellogg OTC policies including adherence to GAAP, SOX and audit requirements
    • Provide direction and assistance to global team in resolving issues to meet deduction metrics

    Capability-Building and Innovation:

    • Building individual skills and capabilities through learning opportunities such as training courses and on-the-job training; strive to be a process champion or expert for the end-to-end OTC process
    • Contributing to the overall learning of the OTC Team through sharing of best work practices and peer-to-peer coaching
    • Supporting implementation of improvements for process efficiency, quality and control Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
    • Working on special projects and continuous improvement initiatives; identify opportunities to make the processes more effective
    • Participating in pilots or service rehearsals before major changes are implemented; conduct system testing for technology upgrades
     

    WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?

    Required Education and Experience
    • GCE, Romanian Baccalaureate or equivalent
    • Significant experience in finance or a related field
    • Language Skills: English
    • Second European language: French, German, Spanish or Italian
    • Computer skills, including experience with SAP ERP system and Microsoft Office
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills    
    • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
    • Independent problem solving, negotiation and decision making  and time-management skills
       
      Preferred Criteria
    • University Degree or equivalent
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment
    • Ability to manage multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities and specific time constraints
    • Experience working in a shared services, process driven or service center environment
    • Expertise in Order-to-Cash function including best practices, technologies, processes, procedures and tools
    • Training and certification in Six Sigma or LEAN
    • Experience working for a multinational organization and working with colleagues internationally
    • Processed and Packaged foods industry experience
