Experienced tax consultant

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in a tax consulting or accounting firm, or internal tax department, with a significant exposure to VAT matters;
• Proactive, well organized and able to identify and juggle with priorities;
• Very good interpersonal and team-playing skills;
• Strong oral and written communication skills;
• Excellent command of Romanian and English both speaking and writing;

Key responsibilities:

• Advise clients in a range of different industries on a board range of complex VAT matters
• Research international and domestic tax and business matters;
• Draft tax advice for the client
• Research international and domestic tax matters;
• Deliver and monitor multiple client engagements;
• Prepares tax reports, working papers, and other client documents (e.g., proposals, engagement letters, presentations, tax returns, final reports).
• Assist in business development efforts - drafting proposals, client meetings and negotiations
• Assist in team development by training junior staff
