On behalf of our client, an important IT Hub in Iasi, we are looking for a Software Tester.

Qualification and competencies:

- Degree in Information Technology or equivalent
- At least 2 years hands-on software testing experience
- Knowledge of testing methodologies, tools and procedures
- Experience in Relational DB and SQL
- Familiarity with testing automation techniques
- Experience in non-function testing (volume, performance, security etc)
- Analytic and logic approach, problem solving orientation, structured thinking, comfortable in a dynamic environment
- Good English skills (both written and spoken)

Key tasks and responsibilities:

- Analyzes software requirements, obtains clarifications where needed, acquires a complete and detailed understanding of the business logic
- Understands the testing approach, methodology, types of testing (including non-functional, integration, sanity, regression and automation testing)
- Estimates the overall testing required effort
- Performs manual and automated testing, executes regression testing before each release
- Configures the test environment, creates test data
- Creates and executes test cases, identifies/validates defects, documents/tracks defects according to the agreed processes in defect tracking systems, checks fixes
- Delivers effective test reports to summarize testing activity (coverage, test results, readiness and impact on agreed quality targets)
- Helps improving the current software testing process, proposes and/or implements new testing tools, environments and methodologies
