Job description :
Learns, trains and improves skills in manufacturing areas in order to gain a profound understanding of products and services, focusing on high technology.
Observes main manufacturing processes through classrooms activities, OJT and Manual Operations.
Learns about Health & Safety mill issues.
Participates in classroom and practical activities, aiming at going deeper in the knowledge of the mill (Steel Shop, Rolling, Metallurgic and Heat Treatment, NDT and finishing floor, Threading, Finishing, Laboratories, and Maintenance).
Maintains regular contact with Mill operations, products, manufacturing processes, organization and Human Resources management. Identifies the main risks, most frequent causes of accidents, description of safety practices and use of PPE.
Develops specific projects either in operating manufacturing areas or in related technical ones.
Ensures compliance with Tenaris policies and management standards.
Ensures adherence to SOX regulations in areas under his / her responsibility

This position is part of Tenaris Global Trainee Program, which represents a full time job combined with classroom training, e-learning courses and practical on-the-job experience in an industrial environment. The two-year program is structured around main pillars: industrial experience, training packs, performance evaluation , follow up and one month Induction Camp, bringing together the latest intake of Global Trainees. The four weeks are a great opportunity for networking, learning about the company's fundamentals and how to work as a team.
