Job descripton:

* Ensure procurement of new projects within our Business Unit Commercial Vehicles;
* Responsible as Buyer in new projects from Kick Off till Start of Production;
* Target price setting;
* Sending Request for Quotation;
* Selecting and awarding suppliers;
* Pre - Negotiation of prices;
* Escalation path towards suppliers in order to negotiate terms to guarantee certainty of supply with the best terms for materials;
* Follow-up and permanent contact with the preferred suppliers in order to ensure the acquisition in time, avoid internal and customer line stop situations;
* Support internal customers for all needed information regarding provision of materials, and purchasing processes;
* Support of local purchasing topics for market analysis and localization efforts, make visits at potential suppliers;
* Contact between Business Unit / R&D and Plant.

This job contract is limited for 1 year, with a possibility to be prolonged after this period according to the Business Unit needs.

Job requirements:

* University degree in Technical field;
* Experience in mechanical or electronically acquisitions is mandatory;
* Procurement process and negotiation knowledge;
* English knowledge - advanced level mandatory;
* German knowledge - a plus;
* SAP knowledge is a plus;
* Very good communication skills;
* Availability for travels.
