Junior DBA Support Consultant

University degree in Business IT, Computer Science or Mathematics
Knowledge of one or more DBMS; preferably at least one of Oracle, Sybase or SQL Server
Knowledge of SQL
Experience with Windows operating systems
Optionally: experience with Linux, Solaris, Shell scripting, Perl
Optionally: Knowledge of C/C++ and/or Java will be a plus
Very good English skills
Willing to learn and acquire new skills
Good team player with a collaborative and helpful attitude

Respond to various user requests, being able to understand the issue reported and simulate Install and upgrade client and internal databases;
Enroll users and maintain system security;
Backup and restore databases;
Work with development and support teams to diagnose database related issues;
Maintain/help with system administration, configuration and troubleshooting of Summit application servers and components;
Database administration tasks: install/admin/configure Oracle, Sybase and SQL Server database servers;
Maintain and improve internal procedures and processes
