    - University Degree in Computer Science or a closely related field
    - Strong technical skills to ensure job description requirements
    - 1-3 year experience as database administrator

    Requirements (advantages)

    Responsibilities

    - Databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL, DB2, Sql Server on OS: AIX, Linux, Windows, cluster environments
    - DBA related activities, performed on development, testing and production environments:
    - installs new versions of the database; applies upgrades
    - creates and maintains databases
    - plans and implements backup and recovery of the database, replication between live and backup environments for critical applications
    - controls migrations of programs, database changes, reference data changes
    - performs ongoing performance tuning of the database instances
    - ensures support for the development team
    - troubleshoots with problems regarding the databases and applications
    - creates scripts as required in order to automate work routines
    - Participates in establishing solution architectures and technical analysis for Allevo products (capacity planning, etc)
    - Performs customer support services for Allevo & 3rd party products according to the Software Support Services contracts (preventive services, on-demand, version management, and so on)
    - Provides on-site/remote assistance through the Help Desk service
    - Communicates and interacts with customers (technical and business areas) and also with Allevo teams (developing, testing, commercial)
