Senior Technical Writer - FusionInvest

What we expect from you?

•5-7 years of technical writing or equivalent experience writing customer-facing software documentation
•BA/BS degree (Finance/Computer Science/English/Technical Writing)
•Excellent oral and written English communication skills, self-motivated, detail-oriented and have the ability to work well independently and as part of a team
•Desire and ability to take ownership of documentation-related projects
•Knowledge of documentation process, including writing, editing, graphics, production, help authoring and information design
•Must have a portfolio of work that demonstrates excellent writing skills and financial experience
•Demonstrated experience with Help Authoring tools; preferably Adobe Robohelp/RoboHTML and/or Adobe Technical Communication Suite
•Experience in documenting software configuration and/or APIs, HTML is highly desirable

What will you do?

•Work with development teams, product managers and business centers to develop, write and maintain end-user/system administration documentation
•Work with other writers to develop and maintain online Help, implementation and configuration manuals, tutorials and release notes
•Proactively research product changes to determine scope of edits for assigned areas of documentation
•Independently write new documentation based on use cases, user stories, feature requirement documents, specifications, information from developers and product managers, and use of the product
•Revise documentation to incorporate product updates and product enhancements requested by customers and internal stakeholders
•Provide input on documentation design and implementation
•Administrate and assign tasks to junior writers related to the documentation function
