JAVA Developer - Backend (Cluj)

- Bachelor or above degree in a relevant field of study (Computer Science, Telecommunications etc.)
- Experience with Java development and Java-based frameworks
- Good communication skills (fluent English is a must)
- Solid understanding and experience working with software development processes
- Ability to work as an individual contributor, providing technical expertise to team, as well as work as an effective, collaborative member of the team.
- Must have the ability to understand the needs of the customers, including the ability to understand both user workflow and user tasks.
- Proven track record for delivering quality solutions in a timely manner.
- Self-starting and self-motivating
- Pro-active, dynamic, focused on results

Additional Requirements (Competencies) are a plus:

- Good knowledge of OOP
- Web tier knowledge, Tomcat, Jetty or other web containers
- Knowledge of SQL language and experience in working with DB (Ms SQL Server, Oracle)
- Experience with Persistence Engines (Hibernate)
- Skills in using XML and Web Services (REST)
- Familiar with design methods/technologies, like object-oriented design, UML analysis
- Basic networking knowledge
- Good problem solving skills
- Proven team player capability
- Experience working with international teams
- Experience in large-scale multi-tier software applications

UCMDB Server is a backbone of the UCMDB product, providing data acquisition, analysis, processing, reporting and storage. Server backend also provides the means for interacting with product interfaces as well as the integrations with other applications.
