Regional Legal Counselor with Russian

- University degree in Law (Master’s degree or equivalent will be an asset);
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant practice;
- Experience in a logistics company or in advising logistics companies is considered an asset;
- Proven ability to work in a national as well as international context;
- Demonstrated oral and written communications skills in order to interface with a variety of stakeholders;
- Fluent in written and oral communication in Romanian and English;
- Good proficiency in Russian or at least another Slavic language is a must
- Strong computer skills (MS Office applications, Windows).

- To review, draft and evaluate various types of contracts (e.g., logistics, transport, lease and purchase agreements) and to assist the organization in negotiating the same);
- To support the settlement of disputes and complex damage claims;
- To advise the organization’s regional management team on legal issues, including compliance related matters;
- To supervise, analyze and research the implication of laws and legislation that may affect the organization and to advise the organization with the goal of minimizing legal exposure and liability;
- To coordinate the work of outside legal advisers;
- To conduct in-house training on relevant legal topics.

- Position is based in Bucharest;
- Initial training in Austria;
- Position with regional responsibilities requires travel;
- Ongoing communication with the general counsel’s office in Austria.
