    Requirements

    Your profile:

    - Finance/ Economy (ASE) University studies in progress;
    - Good general finance knowledge;
    - Good level of Microsoft Office (good knowledge of Excel and Word is a must, knowledge of Access and PowerPoint would be considered an advantage);
    - Knowledge of English, French language would be an advantage;
    - Autonomous, rigorous, flexible person.

    Responsibilities

    Your role:

    The Administrative Operations team is hierarchically linked to the finance responsible, in charge with providing a full scope of accounting and reporting services for all the departments comprised in the Finance Shared Service Center.
    The Administrative Operations team is functionally linked to the team based in Paris and can cooperate with global process owners for the finance perimeter. This link is supposed to align and standardize processes.
    Within the Finance department, the Administrative Operations team performs operational transversal tasks within the Finance Shared Service, mainly financial controlling and performance management reportings.

    A financial controller trainee in the Administrative Operations department will have the following main responsibilities:

    - Contribute to the production and automation of the monthly dashboard;
    - Ensure and contribute to the follow-up of costs and invoicing of clients;
    - Prepare all needed reporting for financial controlling and performance management purposes;
    - Contribute to financial committees’ preparation, weekly reports;
    - Ensure follow-up of the company’s procedures;
    - Contribute to quarterly client satisfaction campaigns and their automation.

The company is currently serving over 20 countries mostly across Europe for all major business lines of the Société Générale Group.
    The Finance Shared Service Center of Société Générale European Business Services, launched in 2011, now counts more than 250 staff delivering services for more than 300 client entities.
    The team’s activity consists in delivering two important kinds of processes: accounting — namely Group reporting in IFRS, statutory and regulatory reporting on top of the permanent supervision activities and related set of control; and Account Payable and Travel & Expenses, with teams specialize in optimizing all procure to pay activities.

    • Duration: 6 months (with the possibility of obtaining an undetermined period contract based on personal performance);
