Qualifications:
You will have many of the following skills and attributes:

Education and Experience:
Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience

Knowledge and Skills

Minimum 5 years’ software engineering experience:
• Extensive hands-on software development experience in a variety of programming languages
• Experience and/or interest in Test Driven Development (TDD) and agile methodologies
• Experience designing and developing complex distributed systems using micro services or SOA patterns
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience of working in Linux and Windows based environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate product architectures and design proposals
• Experience of working with a distributed team is a plus - you will be expected to engage with team members across many time zones and cultures.

Bonus qualifications:
• Working knowledge of Cloud Foundry, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Apache Mesos, Docker containers
• Working knowledge of, or desire to learn, Go (http://golang.org/)
• Performance instrumentation, analysis and tuning
• Cloud platform patterns and design experience

Role & Responsibilities:

The HP Helion Cloud Foundry engineering team is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer who is going to help us build and design the next generation Cloud Foundry based PaaS services and components by actively contributing to the Cloud Foundry open source project and delivering the world's best enterprise grade application hosting platform. You have hands-on experience building complex distributed systems and API driven web services. You have a deep technical passion and enjoy learning the latest technologies and programming languages like: Docker, Kubernetes and “Go”.
