Database Developer

Qualifications:
- University degree in computer science;
- 2+ years experience with MS SQL Server technologies and MS operating systems preferably within an Internet company or related;
- Knowledge in multiple database platforms ;
- Experience with Amazon Web Services preferred;
- Experience with Team Foundation Server and database solutions within Visual Studio preferred
- Logical and physical data modeling;
- Create and maintain documentation for all projects;
- Develop new SSIS/SSRS/SSAS solutions;
- Knowledge in development and configuration for MS SQL;
- MCDBA / MCT / MSSQL certification is considered a plus.

SQL Server Development and Production:
- Produce ad-hoc queries and develop reports to support business needs;
- Managing large data (TB order);
- Modeling Database(s);
- Improving the current structure for easier, faster and more accurate processing;
- Utilize system monitoring tools to check the database performance after development;
- Performance audit is considered a plus: e.g. missing indexes, identifying blocking processes, etc.;
- Implementation of data dashboards to display data in differing formats;
- Researching new reporting tools.

- Able to assist Project Managers/ Developers and deliver sustainable solutions;
- Fluent in English, French is a plus.
