Accounting Business Analyst

We are looking for a candidate able to perform the role of Senior Business Analyst.

The candidate has a strong experience as Accounting Business Analyst, preferably in Capital markets sector and is keen on evolving in a client-oriented environment. He/she have to analyse client’s requirement related to new taxes requested by foreign regulators and implement relevant accounting schemes. He/she should also be familiar with IFRS economic purposes applied to securities portfolios, and be able to adapt accounting schemes in place to IFRS 9 requirements.

Ideal Candidate:
• At least 3 years of experience as Accounting Business Analyst
• Economical or Accounting University-level diploma
• Standard functions of Excel, Access, PowerPoint
• Capacity to communicate with a wide range of interlocutors (IT, financial department, client)
• Capacity to work in project mode, plan projects and forecast capex accordingly
• Capacity to manage different subjects in parallel
• Capacity to challenge and be proposal force to client
• Client oriented spirit, reactivity towards client is requested
• Fluent in English (speak/read/write/understand), French language would be a big plus
• Problem solving and analytical thinking skills

Job description:
• Take in charge client’s requirements, perform impact analysis and quotation
• Plan execution with different stakeholders
• Write functional specification, assist development team during implementation of new features
• Perform functional testing, assist User tests and Non regression tests
• Follow up post implementation
• For each requirement, keep the tracking tool up to date
• Act as back up for level 3 support when needed
• Promptly escalate issues
