    Requirements

    Four year university/ Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
    Typically 2-4 years of combined IT or selling experience preferable in IT industry
    Multiple years over quota performance with progressively more difficult assignments.
    Viewed as an expert in company; sought out by other sales reps and/or managers for input.
    Knowledge and Skills Required:
    Experience in Enterprise Software and/or Technology Support
    Negotiation and selling skills with support service solutions
    Pipeline management and forecasting
    Understands the client procurement processes and knows key decision criteria for winning new and / or maintaining existing business.
    Displays ability to clearly articulate HP value propositions and solution discussions with customers
    High level of negotiation skills at the business manager and IT executive level
    Demonstrates strong presentation and communication skills at the business manager level
    Solid knowledge of HP's breadth of solutions
    Solid level of industry acumen; keeps current with trends and be able to converse with client on issues and challenges
    Partner management skills

    Responsibilities

    Responsibility for the Mid-Market, Channel & Volume HP Software Support quota in the respective region
    Proactively sells support renewals to installed base
    Up-sell to Premier Support and other higher value support services
    Trains, coaches and leads a team of Support Sales Reps
    Interfaces with highly diverse set of functions and buyers at all levels within customer organization
    Aggressively reviews account activities in pursuit of renewal sales or up-selling opportunities.
    Responsible for pipeline and forecast accuracy
    Represent the business in regional forecast and business reviews
    Builds strong professional relationships with key IT and business executives
    Drives integrated planning and coordinated sales execution
    Works independently, self-starter
    Business acumen and executive presence
    Works very closely with external partners
    Reports to the EMEA Support Sales Regional Manager
