    Responsibilities

    The Financial Claims Specialist works in a pan- European, multicultural and multilingual channel business environment. He/she is responsible for the daily operational support to a set of Channel Partners. Transaction processing activities are outsourced to a Transaction Processing Center, so that the FCS can support new HP initiatives, and manage growth,

    Main responsibilities include:


    1. Partner Operational Support

    • Provide daily operational support to Partners via telephone and e-mail – be easy to reach

    • Manage and coordinate any Claims scheduling/prioritization requests with the supply chain organizations to meet partner expectations

    • Conduct regular operational reviews (current status and issues) with Partner Operational staff

    • Provide training and information on Operations processes and tools to Partners as needed, in collaboration with the Country support

    • Occasional channel partner visits

    • Participate in new partner set ups


    2. Financial Claims

    • Manage the claims processes. Ensure resolution of all channel financial claims.

    • Provide continuous visibility of the claims backlog situation to partners and HP stakeholders, in collaboration with the Country Support.

    • Be first entry point for the Partners regarding claims/disputes

    • Work with Partners on a regular claims reconciliation process

    • Manage exceptions and specials (e.g Vendor Debits)

    • Control the Inventoru price protection process (IPP) for assigned partners


    3. Escalations

    • Deal with all written or verbal requests from the partners (inquiries, complaints, etc)

    • Provide partners with solutions when problems arise, efficiently utilizing the HP network

    • Use own judgment to escalate issues at the right time and to the correct owner


    4. Controlling & Quality

    • Ensure that HP policies, legal regulations and audit requirements are met and maintained

    • Contribute in reaching the defined process measures and business fundamentals (e.g. turn-around-times)

    • Address process improvement needs to the process engineering function

    • Contribute with ideas for process improvements
