Profile:

- Undergraduate degree in Finance/Economics plus 2-4 years experience
- 2-4 years experience in a finance position
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with ability to represent the department and business unit at high level
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage high workload at financial closings
- Self starter attitude
- Language skills: High level English knowledge. Any additional Western European language is a plus (Spanish, Dutch, Nordic languages, German).

Business Environment Description:

• Credit is a corporate function being part of Finance (Controllership) and with a functional reporting line to the global Credit&Collection Manager

• Credit is responsible to check the short and long term Creditworthiness of Partners (Channel) and Customers (HP Direct and SMB)

Job Description of the Credit Analyst:

• Assessment of Customers’ Creditworthiness by analysing the financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statement and Cash Flow Statement)

• Review and approvals of new business across all BUs from small HW deals to more complex service and outsourcing contracts

• Review and management of blocked trade orders

• Assignment and monitoring of the credit limits of his/ her portfolio, ensures the compliance with monthly performance objectives relative to the portfolio management (metrics/ KPIs)

• Advises and consults Collection Team and acts as escalation point

• Interfaces internally with senior sales and division management

• Builds relationships with customer’s senior executives of key accounts

• Participates in process reviews and ongoing credit projects
