System Test Engineer for Active Safety

ALTEN Romania, part of the international ALTEN Group - with a unique position as Leader in IT & Engineering Consulting, provides support for its clients’ development strategies in the fields of innovation, R&D and IT systems since 1996. The company comprises 2 divisions specialized on its core capabilities: ENGINEERING and IT. These two divisions are: ALTEN TECHNO and ALTEN IT.

Technical Requirements:

- C language programming
- Good microcontrollers understanding
- Previous work experience in testing is appreciated
- Knowledge of communication protocols with application in automotive industry – CAN (FlexRay, Ethernet is a plus)
- Experience with one of the associated tools (i.e. CANoe, CANalyzer, CANdela) is a plus
- English: good oral and written communications skills

- You will have the chance to develop state-of-the-art automotive safety systems, collaborate with world-wide client sites, help designing and implementing hardware-in-the-loop test benches, that ultimately save lives and reduce traffic injuries.
- Design relevant test cases with the target to ensure the best coverage of the requirements, implement automated test scenarios using a specific test language and validate the corrections and the modifications.

Job location: Timisoara (relocation package for non Timisoara – Residence).
