Software Project Manager

ALTEN Romania, part of the international ALTEN Group - with a unique position as Leader in IT & Engineering Consulting, provides support for its clients’ development strategies in the fields of innovation, R&D and IT systems since 1996. The company comprises 2 divisions specialized on its core capabilities: ENGINEERING and IT. These two divisions are: ALTEN TECHNO and ALTEN IT.

- Experience as software project manager or similar roles of 2+ years;
- Experience as embedded software developer of 2+ years;
- Good knowledge in the area of software development processes and quality assurance;
- Knowledge of testing environment, tools, process and methods;
- Strong interpersonal, planning and organizational skills;
- Ability to prioritize and manage pressure;
- Good English skills in writing, reading and speaking, german is mandatory;

- Support the definition of the product SW requirements based on customer inputs;
- Manage the project team to realize the project objectives (estimate, plan and track the SW development activities);
- Evaluate the necessary roles and define adequate project organization;
- Ensure the communication with other disciplines (hardware, mechanical, validation);
- Ensure the technical interface with our customers from software perspective;
- Handle critical situations that occur during software project development;
- Take decisions and assume possible risks when necessary.
- A mentor will support you to stepwise take over own responsibility after an initial training phase which will familiarize you with our client products, tools, processes and organization.

Job location: Timisoara (relocation package for non Timisoara – Residence).
