Functional Safety Specialist

The company comprises 2 divisions specialized on its core capabilities: ENGINEERING and IT. These two divisions are: ALTEN TECHNO and ALTEN IT.

Technical Requirements:
- University degree in a relevant technical field (e.g. Electronics, Computers, Mechatronics);
- Technical know-how in automotive product development and understanding of embedded systems;
- Can easily interact with different disciplines (software, hardware, mechanical design) and different management levels;
- Very good communication and presentation skills;
- Likes to take a stand and to have initiative when the things go wrong;
- Good writing, reading and speaking English skills.
- Is an advantage to have:Hardware know-how; ISO 26262 know-how; Technical analysis know-how (FMEA, FMEDA, FTA).

- The Functional Safety Specialist acts like a consultant and reviewer for the project core team for the complete set of activities and documents necessary to comply to the ISO 26262 requirements.
- The Functional Safety Specialist ensures that the necessary quality and safety measures for the project are identified and noted with respect to the legal requirements and those coming from the ISO 26262.
- Other activities to be performed are the moderation of FMEA, FMEDA and FTA analysis and its corresponding documentation. In this role, you have to act both as moderator of the discussions and as coach in how this analysis is to be performed internally.
- You will also offer support to the project teams in presenting arguments on the process and analysis itself in meetings with clients or auditors, where your support is requested.
- For both FSM and FMEA topics, you are expected to act as trainer and coach in the location.
- A mentor will support you to stepwise take over own responsibility after an initial training phase which will familiarize you with our products, tools, processes and organization.

Job location: Timisoara (relocation package for non Timisoara – Residence).
