    Requirements

    Job Requirements:

    · Preferably Computer university degree or a similar qualification
    · At least 3 years of experience in Oracle database administration
    · Experience in productive environment
    · Knowledge of ITIL Service Delivery and Support disciplines and methodologies is a plus
    · Oracle certification would be a plus

    · Strong analytical skills
    · Must possess strong interpersonal skills in order to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

    Responsibilities

    As a database administrator with your main area of expertise in Oracle, you are employed in the Service Line Managed Services in the field of Global Accounts to manage and administer Oracle installations. You will be fully responsible for the timely deployment at the customers, the trouble-free, high-performance and economical operation, and the permanent observance of the system maintenance, security, compliance and documentation standards.

    Job Responsibilities:

    · Design and document database architecture
    · Daily database administration
    · Create scripts for task automation
    · Ensure database performance tuning and optimization
    · Ensure database troubleshooting as well as real time monitoring and support
    · Work with large volumes of data to create reports
    · Participate within technical meetings to find the best solution for a business problem
    · Providing support on the systems during the projects, or maintenance activities
    · You will independently set up system maintenance and patch measures and will be fully responsible for their implementation within defined maintenance windows, also as overtime outside of office hours
    · In addition, you will take part in ensuring the 7/24 operation as part of regular on-call and manager-on-duty services
    · You will manage, check and prioritize the processing and resolution of incidents in the daily operation, and actively participate with your technical expertise in the search for errors and their troubleshooting
