Senior Oracle Developer

As a provider of internal IT services for METRO GROUP, METRO SYSTEMS Romania provides specialized consulting to retail companies in all aspects of IT, develops specific solutions along the full value chain and provides a powerful IT infrastructure with a team of over 900 IT professionals.

- Experience with the analysis and design of Oracle based applications;
- Good experience in PL/SQL;
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Oracle Forms/Reports development;
- Knowledge of XML would be a plus;
- Knowledge of shell scripting on a Linux/Unix operating system would be a plus;
- Degree in information technology or equal education;
- Fluent in English;
- Motivation to achieve consistently high quality results;
- Team spirit and willingness to cooperate closely with international and cross-functional development teams;
- Analytical thinking and problem solving skills.

- Writing functional and technical specifications according to user demands;
- Maintenance and support of METRO Group business software solutions;
- Development of Oracle Forms/Reports and database objects according to technical specifications;
- Job processing analysis;
- Module, regression and performance tests;
- Interface development and tests.
