Senior Software Engineer

Talentor Romania is the local branch of an international Human Resource solution provider and it's currently recruiting for the following role.

Our client is increasingly using Java-based technologies, so we will appreciate your skills and knowledge on: J2EE, server side technologies (like JSP, Java, and Java Servlets), Spring, Struts, Hibernate, AJAX, Java scripting, Weblogic;
Because some of our client`s products are C++/C# based, they need some strong background in this field;
Have a sound and deep knowledge of the latest developments in the field of software technology;
Knowledge of enterprise frameworks, systems integration, software development and testing methodologies is required;
Good Unix and/or Windows skills;
Good troubleshooting skills;
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently;
Good spoken and written English, to be used on a daily basis.

Our client`s aim is to re-write and re-design a core business application and as a member of their development team, your responsibilities will include:

Work with the current development & product management team to introduce new technologies in their C/C++ developed product;
Designing and developing applications on top of proprietary software;
Implement new features as specified;
Respect high level coding and design standards;
Investigate technical and functional defects and propose adequate solutions;
Providing training to the junior software engineers whenever a new/junior member joins the team.
