    Candidate Profile

    · Analytical Thinking and Decision-Making: A “conceptualizer” of enterprise and market trends/issues who can then integrate that thinking into marketing and business strategies. Decisive and logical at thoroughly evaluating issues. Excellent planning, execution and project-management skills.

    Qualifications:

    · Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or marketing; MBA highly preferred
    · 3+ years experience in a management consulting firm or premier marketing organization
    · Experience in managing multiple, complex projects and changing priorities, making sound decisions and working effectively with cross-functional teams
    · Strong written & oral communication skills.
    · Fluent in English, both verbal and in writing.

    Responsibilities

    The Strategic Marketing Manager is responsible to help drive ACS organic growth faster than the market while driving profitability at double the revenue growth rate through a series of deep-dives into individual SBU/ SBE and /or by driving cross-SBU strategic growth and profitability initiatives (e.g. Pricing).



    This individual must be able to analyze long-term market, competitive and technology trends and understand customer needs in order to identify attractive new markets and segments and develop and implement business strategies and plans that ensure long-term success.

    The role requires thorough understanding and application of:

    · Customer and market requirements through expert use of Voice of Customer, primary and secondary research
    · Customer segments to decide where to play and how to play questions
    · Vertical markets and value chain elements
    · Business and Go-to-market models
    · Pricing excellence and competitive pricing dynamics
    · Microeconomics
    · Basic marketing toolkit [market definition and sizing, segmentation, value management, targeting and positioning, pricing].

    The role requires leading a team of two or more strategic marketing associate to deep-dives into SBUs and SBEs or drive cross-SBU / SBE initiatives so as to:

    Drive growth and profitability

    · Work with senior leadership at ACS and in the SBUs and SBEs to identify, scope, and structure key strategy initiatives to drive growth and profitability
    · Quickly understand the issues facing the business, structure and develop work plans so as to develop a strategic solutions to problems, drive implementation of these solutions, and work well within a team
    · Structure, prepare, and present well-designed and logical documents to senior management and command a senior audience
    · Link business strategies clearly to financials and functional actions
    · Drive implementation of the various strategic initiatives. Manage rate of change appropriately
    · Identify M&A opportunities as a tool to further accelerate organic growth

    Conduct Research and Analysis

    · Help team members design and execute impactful market research studies; drive to conclusions and actionable recommendations for the business
    · Lead market research planning and execution; Drive analysis to “so-whats”
    · Communicates the findings and implications; Drive action from analysis

    Manage Programs & Projects

    · Work with team members to develop actionable and impactful work plans that balance speed of action with rigor on the initiative
    · Ensure that all the deliverables of the project are met in a timely fashion
    · Deploy appropriate team members on various work-streams while also helping to formulate the SBU/ SBE team who will co-work on the project with the ACS team
    · Support or contribute in project planning and budget preparation for the year
    · Keep senior ACS and SBU marketing leadership fully updated with the progress and impact of the project.
