Position Summary

The Master Data Management Specialist manages master data so, that it is fit for purpose – meaning that it enables the business to efficiently and effectively operate and improve end to end flows and functional processes.
By executing its responsibilities, the Master Data Management Specialist ensures that master data quality meets the expectations from stakeholders.

Responsibilities & Tasks:

Maintain master data
• Create, change and delete master data according requests
• Create, change and delete master data on behalf of projects

Provide master data expertize
• Answer end-users’ master data related questions according to requests
• Analyze complex master data related questions for projects
• Propose solutions to complex master data related question for projects
• Develop master data related solutions for projects

Improve MDM ways of working end to end
• Collect business processes' requirements on master data quality
• Translate requirements on master data quality into MDM ways of working
• Document MDM ways of working
• Develop MDM supporting tools
• Produce MDM training material
• Implement documented MDM ways of working and supporting tools
• Measure master data quality
• Measure how MDM ways of working are designed (process performance)
• Measure how MDM ways of working are used (operational performance)
• Analyze master data quality with respect to requirements
• Analyze process and operational performance
• Decide upon and execute improvement activities
• Lead improvement of MDM ways of working
• Ask for support when in doubt
• Support colleagues in doubt
• Actively share knowledge and best practice
• Propose process and operational improvements when needed

Minimum Qualification & Experience Requirements
• A first degree or equivalent qualification
• At least 1-2 years experience in Master Data Management area or Supply Chain area;
• Experience from master data maintenance in SAP systems;
• Experience from master data maintenance in SAP systems
