Report Developer & Information Analyst

REQUIRED:
• Experience in enterprise report development and analysis
• Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services SSRS and Report Builder
• Microsoft SQL Server 2008R2 Databases and dimensional models
• Microsoft Excel
• Microsoft Access
• Visual Basic programming in MS Excel
• Knowledge of other MS Applications (Power Point/Word/Visio)
• Strong general IT knowledge – technical, procedure and governance
• Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written (English)
• Excellent organisational skills
• Good understanding of project management principles
• Functions well in both local and virtual team environments
• Functions well in a high pressure and dynamic environment

PREFERRED:
• Three to Five years of Information Technology experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS or Engineering
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate: SQL Server or equivalent
• ITIL Intermediate Level or equivalent
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent
• PMI Certified Associate in Project Management or equivalent
• SoftArtisans OfficeWriter (used with SSRS)
• Presentation skills – both in creating and delivering

RESPONSIBILITIES (DUTIES) OF POSITION:
• Develop, maintain and deliver reports to support the Xerox MPS Service Delivery Community.
o Using SQL2008R2 SSRS dimensional model, Report Builder 3, SoftAritsan Officewriter, MS Access Databases and Excel VBA
• Support, Administer and maintain the in-house hosted reporting system
• Provide user training on system interface and report delivery
• Escalation management.
• Become a subject matter expert on the software suite XSM/XRM (Xerox In-House asset management application).
• Point of contact for internal customer relationships
• Support internal customers with reporting data collection requirements
• Working with internal customers and project teams to focus data collection to achieve SLA
• Ensure that a clear and efficient service is presented to customers by maintaining;
o Service offering,
o Reporting catalogue
o Support material.
• Input into reporting deliverables for new business pursuits.
• Data Mining and one-off report requests,
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Contribute to Continuous Service Improvement (CSI) and support cost reduction and efficiency programs through automation.
