Java Software Engineer

Job Requirements:

1. Must have:
• University studies: Polytechnic University, Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics, ASE (Cybernetics) ,etc.
• At least 6 months of experience in Java and SQL programming
• Knowledge of Basic Java API, OOP, algorithms, Data Base
• English knowledge

2. Nice to have:
• Knowledge of one Java IDE (Eclipse, STS)
• PL/SQL programming skill, Oracle and Spring Framework
• Linux knowledge
• Knowing Groovy language and Grails framework

Job Responsibilities:

• Software Development for client’s products (60%)
• Technical Support for the clients’ applications, solving customer's issues
• Communication abilities, appropriate attitude when handling the customer's issues
• Follow-up issues troubleshoot and fix
• Prioritizing and managing many open cases at one time
• Working with R&D, QA and other teams when needed
• Maintaining, debugging and configuring the products
• Learning about products updates and new technologies

You should be able to multi-task several projects. For example, a typical implementation project can last 2-3 months from the initialization phase. But there might be 2-3 weeks projects. Projects can be of different degree of complexities. Complex projects will be split and assigned to a 2-3 person team.
