Project description:
GLM is mandated to market funding products with a two year or less tenor, provide unsecured and secured financing for Deutsche Bank Group as well as provide recourse and non-recourse financing for clients. This includes provision of collateral management services to both internal and external clients and derivatives funding management for CB&S. The GLM product suite encompasses money markets, government and credit repos, and exchange traded futures and options. GT supports this mandate through the trading systems Kondor+, Magellan and WMS, as well as pricing application Dealerboard and Risk system Score. The Bucharest team will be responsible for the strategic roadmap of the critical trading applications of Kondor+ and Magellan and the Collateral trading tool WMS. These applications have a footprint of approximately 500 users each in multiple locations globally.

Role Description:
The WPF.Net C# developer will design and develop application code across the GLM landscape, in response to business requirements. Components will be defined and implemented in close collaboration with GLM business and GLM GT on-shore team. The workflow comprises the delivery of interfaces to/between the existing product instance, production support teams.

Technical Skills:

• Excellent knowledge of C#, WPF (XAML) programming and MVVM architecture pattern.
• Experience in object-oriented programming using C# in .NET.
• Experience with MS PRISM framework
• Experience with SOAP, Web Services and XML messaging.
• Database Technologies: Oracle , SQL and PL/SQL
• Good working knowledge of Multi-threading and event transactions.
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux scripting, and basic systems administration skills (utilities, commands, editors, basic investigation)
• Experience of working in a team development environment as well as globally distributed project team
• Experience in source code management, continuous build and integration technologies and hands-on experience with resp. tools, e.g. Perforce/Subversion/GIT, Visual Studio 2010 .Net Platform.
• Knowledge of network, system security and compliance practices.

Experience and Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in computer science or software engineering - (or equivalent diploma/work experience)
• 3-4 years of work experience in IT
• 3+ years of application developer experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Designs, develops and documents WPF .Net C# based software components for the WMS Frontend in accordance with requirements, functional and technical design documents.
• Completes and elaborates technical software design (high level design) in accordance with solution(s) standards.
• Participates in design/code reviews and resolve findings in reviews (4 eyes principle) of developed source code
• Identifies dependencies between software product components, between technical components (such as database tables and master data files), and between applications and interfaces.
• Identifies product integration verifications to be performed based on the integration sequence and relevant dependencies.
• Measures and analyzes code for quality
• Ensures that all code changes are tracked and recorded through the groups change management process and that development is scheduled and approved
• Provides release deployments on non-production management controlled environments
• Captures build and deployment notes, develops software product deployment & operating instructions
• Collaborates with functional analysts and technical specialists to complete work, as required
• Designs and implements test cases in collaboration with QA lead including expected results and handle negative test case scenarios – utilize and/or develop automation for test cases.
• Ensures adequate and accurate documentation at various stages of work in accordance with SDLC documentation requirements.
