Quality Assurance Engineer

AMIQ Consulting was founded in 2003 as a provider of professional functional hardware verification services. AMIQ EDA develops Design and Verification Tools (DVT), an Eclipse-based integrated development environment (IDE) for the hardware design and verification languages SystemVerilog, Verilog, VHDL, and e (www.dvteclipse.com). Launched in 2008, DVT has been adopted worldwide by users from the semiconductor, computer and peripherals, networking, and medical devices industries.

- Experience in QA process and methodologies: test planning, test case development, testing techniques, issue tracking, automation
- Experience in automation tools and techniques
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Experience (2+ years) with Java programming and OOP
- Experience in Linux and Shell scripting (Bash)
- Experience with GIT, Youtrack, JUnit, ANT, Jenkins or similar
- Proactive and good problem solver
- Fast learner; ability to quickly come up to speed on new technology concepts
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good English communication skills (both in written and verbal)
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Mathematics or related disciplines

Desired skills (a plus):

- Experience with open-source projects (even if personal)
- Design Patterns knowledge
- C/C++, SystemVerilog, Verilog, VHDL, SystemC, e Language experience
- Experience with Eclipse Plug-in/RCP development and testing (SWTBot, Jubula)

- Responsible for the overall quality of the products
- Implement, integrate and maintain automated tests
- Analyze and debug automated tests
- Run manual or automatic tests and generate QA reports
- Develop new features and maintain the continuous testing infrastructure
