• Minimum 2 Yearsdesign experience
• Proven track record of design experience including team-based projects, following standard software Engineering methodologies
• UML modelling, specifically sequence diagrams, logical- and technical data modelling, process design;
• Designing and developing multi-system platforms on SOA principles;
• MVC frameworks, JMS/SOAP/REST, J2EE, OSB, Oracle DB/Exadata, Oracle WebCenter an advantage;

Role purpose:

As a Software Designer you will be responsible for assessing and supporting the design and architecture of various Machine to Machine (M2M) services, features and framework modules, communicating and aligning the design with all stakeholders and ensuring a comprehensive and high-quality design will facilitate the successful development and delivery of the next iteration of the M2M platform and services.

This role is based in Bucharest – Technology Shared Services Centre Romania - and will be supporting Vodafone’s key strategic growth areas of M2M, Automotive and Consumer Electronics, Group Technology Networks and delivery of multi-million euro programme across Vodafone Group Technology, Operating Companies and Partner Markets

Whaw will you do?

• Youl will be responsible for supporting the design, documentation, validation and clarification of M2M platforms, systems and services
• Support for the M2M IT Development team by technical requirement authoring, comprehensive design documentation and clarification
• You will communicate designs and design decisions back to wider team and business stakeholders
• You will evaluate and identify opportunities to apply new technology solutions and their integration with legacy system
