Cerinte

Education:
• Computer science graduates (Automatics and Computers Faculty, Informatics) or degree of Electronics/Transportation faculty

Preferred Project experience:
• Development of C/C++ projects under Linux, Solaris;
• Knowledge in railway signaling is a plus;

Programming languages:
• C/C++
• Basic knowledge in a script language (e.g. Perl, TCL)

Preferred tools and methods:
• Knowledge of Event Driven Programming;
• Operating systems fundamentals (Linux, Solaris), device drivers, multi-process/multi-threaded applications;
• Knowledge of Real Time Operating Systems;
• Object Oriented Design (OOA/OOD) under usage of Rhapsody (or other UML tool, RSD);
• HW knowledge in the IFB area (interface boards) is a plus;
• ClearCase-UCM or other SW Configuration Management tools is a plus;

Personal competencies
• Intercultural communication, including the empathy to work in an international team;
• Team-working;
• Flexibility and availability to travel abroad from time to time;

Languages:
• English;
• Spanish, German is a plus;

Responsabilitati

Development of IFB (Interface boards – based on Microcontrollers) software applications for the railway field, including
• Design, Implementation/Coding and Unit test;
• Application maintenance and bug-fixing;
• Documentation and reporting;

The development will be performed in a professional multi-site environment (BClearCase or UCM) in close co-operation with experts in Germany.
