Cerinte

Education:
Technical study of computer science, informatics, transportation, mathematics, physics or similar.
Preferred project experience:
• Development (incl. programming) of software applications in graphical environment;
• Experiences in Knowledge management;
• An experience in railway application development or in development of mission-critical systems is a plus.

Programming languages:
• Python (object oriented script langage);
• GTK (graphical library);
• C;
• MATLAB language is a plus (m language and/or Simulink);
• Lustre language is a plus;
• Experiences in RDF (resource description framework) is a plus;
• An experience in XML is a plus.

Preferred tools and methods:
• MATLAB;
• DOORS is a plus;
• ClearCase or other configuration management SW is a plus;
• SCADE is a plus;
• GLADE (HMI design tools) is a plus.

Personal competencies

• Goal-orientated;
• Reliable;

• Intercultural communication, including the empathy to work in an international team;
• Availability to travel abroad from time to time.

Languages:

• French mandatory
• English

Responsabilitati

Development of SW tools based on the specification, including the
• design,
• implementation,
• tests,
• documentation and regular reporting of progress.

The development will be performed in a professional development environment with Thales France. The tools developed will contribute to a strategic SW development project for safety-critical urban rail technologies in France. The technical specifications will be in French. The produced documentation will be written in French language. The code will be commented in English. The communication with Thales France will be in either French or English.
