SAP Business Intelligence Consultant in Analytical Banking

Background:
• University degree in Mathematics, Computer Science or Informatics
• Relevant background in mathematics and statistics
• Relevant background software development experience

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
• University degree in Computer Science, Management, Engineering or Business Intelligence required. A combination of business and technical education is preferred
• Proven track of successful project/product performance regarding customer satisfaction, quality deliverables and in time delivery
• Proven knowledge of the following SAP BI areas: o Business Intelligence & functional expertise of SAP Netweaver BW
• Good presentation and communication skills, open minded w/ customer focus.
• Learning capacity and the will to acquire new skills
• Fluent in English (at business level).

The ideal candidate

• Minimum 5+ year proven SAP Netweaver BW/BI experience in a customer facing role with large and/or multi-national organizations
• Consulting experience with SAP Business Intelligence Solutions will be considered as added value
• Solid understanding of SAP BW front-end reporting and back-end
• Knowledge in minimum two frontend tools, as:
o Webi,
o Dashboard designer
o Crystal reports,
o WAD,
o Portal,
o Bex
• Solid experience in planning and implementing ETL processes preferably using SAP BO Data Services.
• Preferably experience in ABAP or ABAP OO to create and adjust Extractors, Routines, Update Rules, variables user exits, etc.
• Experience with HANA is a plus
• Experience with Agile/SCRUM development methodology
• Strong customer orientation
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
• Furthermore, you have good project planning and time management skills as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a variety of people throughout the company. A flexible approach to work with a focus on delivery to deadlines and high standards is second nature to you. You have strong analytical skills and you are able to make sense of complex and logical problems quickly.

- Ensure that the user requirements fits in the design with the overall architecture strategy and framework for SAP BW/BI
- Work with IT and business colleagues to develop solutions to specific problems that at times leverage existing solutions and systems
- Deliver a high quality and clean implementation aligned with the current implementation standards and best practice in SAP BW/BI

About Treasury
Within the TIGAr Initiative, the Liquidity Reporting & Analytics programme with look to develop a market standard reporting platform for Deutsche Bank which will deliver the following key themes:
• Enhanced Treasury control - Reporting and scenario analytics platform supporting self service and intra-day capabilities to allow more proactive & dynamic liquidity risk management.
• Balance sheet alignment & improved data accuracy - Central data source for all liquidity reporting across Finance, Treasury and business lines supporting increased accuracy, granularity and timeliness.
The LRA programme is looking to recruit experienced SAP BI Consultants to continue with build out of the platform along with L3 support.
