Business Intelligence Engineer – SAS Visual Analytics and Data Integrator

Essential:

* Strong experience working in visualisation - SAS Visual Analytics
* Strong experience in SAS Data Integrator tool
* Strong SQL/PLSQL development skills
* Demonstrable experience of proposing insightful visualizations with the data at hand
* Have an understanding of IT project management - planning, delivery, resourcing, expectation management
* Pro-active. Can do mind-set and attitude
* Ability to work effectively with senior IT and Business stakeholders
* Good presentation skills - must be able to "sell the visualization" to the business and relevant stakeholders
* Involvement in development of Analytics tools
* Exposure to operating across multiple global locations with accommodate various cultures and practices
* Translating complex business requirements into effective technology solutions

* Credit Risk OR Data Analytics projects
* Experience of delivering in a highly regulated environment
* Experience of similar toolset (qlikview, spotfire, redshift,Oracle OBIEE etc)
* Hands on Experience on similar toolset (qlikview, spotfire, redshift,Oracle OBIEE etc)
* Background in creative design / information architecture / GUI design
* Statistical / Scientific background

The purpose of this role is to act as the SAS Visual Analytics Developer for the programme through the end of the PoC phase, then into the Pilot and development phases and on into Production.

This will involve taking a central role in the work stream and interacting with the various teams within and external to the programme. These teams are made up of a mixture of vendor consultants and internal resources.
