Flash Animation Designer

EA is seeking an Animation Designer to join its Global Creative Team. This individual will develop animated banner units from initial concept through final production. The ideal candidate has experience designing flash-based web banners, as well as HTML or motion graphics. The ideal candidate has in-depth knowledge of layout, typography, and strong conceptual thinking for all forms of digital medium. You will have the opportunity to work on some of the biggest brands in the video game industry such as Battlefield, Madden, and FIFA. Working closely with other members of the creative team, your role will be the concept and execution of digital advertising, both animated and static. This position is based in Bucharest, Romania. Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience working as a flash designer, agency experience preferred.
• Strong conceptual development, visualization, typography and interactive design skills. Aware of the current design trends as well as basic design fundamentals. Attention to detail is a must.
• Fluent in in Adobe CS6 or Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Proficient coder in Flash CS6 and/or CC, Action Script 2/3. Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS is desirable.
• Basic knowledge of video and motion graphics is a plus.
• Knowledge of web standards. Must be able to follow technical specifications of Google, Yahoo, and other major platforms.
• Demonstrable portfolio of previous work.
• Organized, self-starter with strong work ethic.
• Verbal and written fluency in English.

Responsibilities
• Concept, design, execution, and production of flash and static banners, as well as other animated units.
• Production of multiple sizes and languages for each unit.
• Ensuring that a high level of quality and optimization is applied to the production process.
• Taking art direction from the Creative Director and Lead Designers.
• Able to juggle multiple projects at once.
Ability to communicate effectively with partners and clients across multiple countries and time zones.
