SharePoint Specialist

Arcadia Support Group was founded specifically to address the other half of the IT Operations problem: how to support the non-standard, custom applications, considering the fact that they are unique to every customer. We assess the ICT operations of our clients holistically, bring together a combination of local resources, international experts, and strategic partners (having IPSoft as our main partner) to address any serious pain points or bottlenecks identified, then implement the new models, with the aim to improve the effectiveness of the support delivery.

Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of experience in a related field
Experience designing, installing and maintaining a SharePoint Topology
Expert knowledge of SharePoint administration including but not limited to: SharePoint security, infrastructure, system maintenance, deployment and publishing
Experience planning, configuring, and maintaining a SharePoint Online (Microsoft Office 365)
Specialized knowledge in multiple technical areas and technical experience with Windows Server administration & Active Directory, knowledge of LAN/WAN networking concepts, SQL Server administration (2008 & 2012), Windows IIS
Experience with the following technologies: C#, VB.net, ASP.net
Experience with server-side object model development such as: custom fields and content types, custom list definitions, event receivers, web parts, timer jobs, workflows, page layouts and master pages
Good knowledge of written and spoken English.

Required Certifications:
Core Solutions of Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013 (70 - 331)
MCSA: Windows Server 2012
Preferred Certifications:
Advanced Solutions of Microsoft SharePoint Server (70 – 332)
MCSE: SharePoint Certification.

Configure the 2013 SharePoint server, components and tuning.
Contribute to SharePoint related policies/procedures, hardware/software architecture and application integration.
Develop, configure and maintain document libraries, enterprise lists and site collections.
Perform custom programming (SharePoint web-parts) and implementation tasks of SharePoint Portal and Windows SharePoint Services in order to answer the customer requirements.
Manage SharePoint end user accounts, permissions and access rights in accordance with best-practices regarding privacy and security.
Assist with software improvements and upgrades.
Enhance SharePoint functionality and/or performance as necessary.
Participate in project team activities prior to release for new planned solutions that will be published.
Collaborate with network administrators, systems analysts and software engineers to assist in solving problems with SharePoint framework, sites and information.
Track feature and bug requests for prioritization.
Ensure each reported problem is solved in a timely manner and the infrastructure is secure, reliable, and well maintained.
