- A minimum of 1 year of IT experience relevant to this position
- CCNA-level minimum knowledge is required
- Practical experience with: DHCP, DNS, ACLs, Zone-Based Firewalls, NAT, IPS, Content Filtering
- Strong IT technical background including technical expertise with networking protocols
LAN: STP, LACP, VTP, HSRP, CDP
WAN: EIGRP, IP Routing, redistribution
Security: IPSEC VPN, SSL VPN, port-security
- Familiarity with the Cisco 800/1800/2800/2960 families is required
- A broad understanding of IT technologies and how they relate to business
- Networking certifications represent a plus

- Maintenance, troubleshooting and problem resolution for the corporate network infrastructure (layers 1-4)
- Network monitoring, traffic analysis and active incident management (Level-2 intervention)
- Administration of the central monitoring and management tools (configuration management, log collection, etc.)
- Networking Asset Management and CMDB Maintenance
- Active involvement in of network development projects
- Technical point of contact for DB Schenker in relationship with our service suppliers (ticket escalation, follow-up, monitoring of completion)
