Senior Financial Analyst

Tenneco is present in Romania with the Global Shared Services Center in Bucharest and also with the Braking products plant in Ploiesti, Prahova.

At least 2 years FP&A experience in an Automotive or Industrial environment
Very strong Excel and advanced PowerPoint Skills
Very good knowledge of SAP (FI-CO). Experience with financial reporting systems (Hyperion, Onestream or similar) and Business Intelligence
Excellent command of English
Experience in Public Accounting (ideally Big 4) is an advantage
Ability to work in a global, matrix environment
Solid understanding of IT systems’ capabilities to support and improve financial planning
Attention to details, accuracy and timing
Strong analytical skills
Strong communication skills and effective relationship management skills

Fixed Cost Reporting
Extract cost center data by function and entity for the global braking business from SAP and Onestream
Prepare variance analysis and work with site finance on clear and meaningful explanations
Prepare comprehensive executive summaries
Present and explain performance to functional leaders & senior management
Coordinate and prepare forecasts (short term, yearly budget, strategic plan)
Track and measure cost-reduction initiatives
Partner with HR in census reporting. Enhance understanding and reconciliation of census vs. cost
Enhance performance of processes and financial systems
Assist in preparation of financial forecasts (revenue, EBITDA, cash flow) on short, mid and long term
Support analysis on revenue segmentation, customer & segment profitability
Participate in profitability assessment of Growth opportunities, assist in preparation of quotations
