You will be involved in the development of a services platform for one of the largest international providers of financial and payment services;
Develop a customised software solution;
Be at the heart of a development process that will create a business strategic software component;
Be involved in the creation of software solutions that will enhance the business of our customer
Create intelligent designs that will ensure efficient decisioning and the use of best practices

Writes and strives to promote high quality, modern Java code with extended test coverage
Owns and drives development, testing and delivery of features in the projects.
Designs core, backend software components that can scale as our product does.
Conducts design and code reviews.
Analyses and improves efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources.
Is responsible for resolving, testing any production issues when they arise.

Knowledge and Skills:
Passion for solving the world’s toughest problems, and the smarts to actually solve them.
Solid knowledge of software engineering principles.
Ability to work in a multinational, agile development environment.
Advanced knowledge of relational databases and SQL, desired Oracle and MySQL.
Advanced knowledge of web protocols and services.
Ability to use and to promote good coding practices and patterns and while avoiding over engineering
Experience in building large scale server applications.
Hands on experience with mainstream java technologies: JDK 1.6+, JEE 5+ (EJB, WS, JAXB, JMS, Servlet), Jboss AS 5+, Spring/IOC/MVC/Webflow/Data-JPA, JAXB/Jackson, JUnit/Mockito, Maven.
