Presales Consultant with Web and Video Editing Skills

To fulfil the role of cross product services presales consultant, we are looking for individuals who match the following profile:

Business:
• University / college graduate with a Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics or Business Studies degree qualification
• Good understanding of IT market and trends
• Appreciation of technology, internet / web applications and desktop/office automation software.
• Skilled in Adobe Photoshop as well as HTML,CSS, general Web publishing and Web design
• Excellent language skills: Fluency in English is essential, and fluency in at least one other language ( French, German) is strongly preferred
• Most important is an eagerness to learn!

Non-Technical:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage deadlines with colleagues and internal customers
• Self confident and a self-starter – example: able to set up and drive own meetings proactively.
• Good planning and time management skills
• Ability to multi-task and share job responsibilities with other team members.
• Ability to work in (and preferably experience of working in) virtual teams – To get a specific job done often requires working together with many colleagues spread out in different countries
• Openness to work with different languages & cultures (you will support most of Europe)
• Results orientation and focus on quality

• Create videos and presentation materials to support the sales processes at EMEA level
• Stakeholder management, identify customer needs, identify opportunities for common projects.
• Assist in the creation/designing of the internal websites, coordinate, schedule, validate and publish new content with appropriate owners
• Creation of Customer/ Partner specific portals to share information which has to be sourced in conjunction with the field and EPC teams.
• Brief internal teams on new content availability, via Newsletter contributions and some web conferences
• Internal communications (participate in creating standardized communications)
• Support in overall internal communications plan & execution (e.g. slides preparation)
• Perform translations as required (if in 2nd foreign language)
• Ensure collaboration with presales teams, sales and other lines of business.

Presales is the function which provides product expertise to sales, customers & partners in Oracle. Oracle has a large community of sales consultants across EMEA that engage on a daily basis in tasks such as:

• Product presentations & demonstrations
• Advising customers & partners on how best to use Oracle products
• Responding to tenders
• Interacting with product development about new releases and new functionality

Successful sales consultants are in high demand and have the opportunity to pursue a career path both within presales as well as in many different IT and non-IT functions.

The EMEA Presales Centre (EPC) is tasked with supporting the EMEA field presales in a diverse number of ways, ranging from answering to tenders, customizing demos and building prototypes to directly supporting partners with specific requests.

For the Cross Product Services team we are looking for individuals who are willing to take on the challenge of quickly building basic product knowledge and combining this with a good commercial sense while working in an international environment.

The languages supported by the centre are: English, French, German, Italian and Spanish (fluency in English is a must).
