Configuration Librarian

- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Organized, methodical work-style, paying attention to detail.
- Able to work independently, team player, ready to be part of a group located remotely.
- English, spoken and written.
- ITIL V3 foundation.
- Experience in Asset and Configuration Management process.
- Good oral and written skills, good communicator.
- Technical skills: START (Service-Now), HP Universal CMDB, Office suite.

- Verify and validate discovered Cis (servers, databases, devices, printers).
- Record CI dependencies.
- Update CIs lifecycle and attributes.
- Request operations team to fix naming convention issues, track until completion.
- Manage new desktop software releases : control provided software details, verify provided documents, update related software records in DML (Definitive Media Library).
- Record new discovered hardware models, update attributes.
- Verify hardware asset entries and request support and operation teams to fix issues, track until completion.
- Produce weekly report on discovered/verified discovered CIs.
- Produce fortnightly report on software release process.
- Produce monthly report on PC and printer naming.
- Produce weekly agenda for Project Review board.
- Produce on-request reports on various assets/configuration items .
