    Requirements

    Business Knowledge

    • Experience in a similar project management role in a financial services software company
    • Experience in a customer facing role using consultative skills
    • Core Banking knowledge
    • Implementation of greenfield package installations
    • Experience with migration projects
    • Working with distributed teams => understands the cultural differences

    Planning Skills

    • Knows how to plan projects
    • Knows how to identify and set midterm milestones and objectives
    • Knows what the planning analysis and planning tools are and how to use them
    • Knows how to implement process improvement and what tools are available
    • Is able to come up with mitigation plans / has the possibilities to think out of the box

    Technical knowledge

    • Client relationships / negotiation skills
    • Project Management qualification e.g. Prince II
    • Understand the software development lifecycle
    • Good working knowledge of MS Office products
    • Good working knowledge of MS Project
    • Excellent oral and written skills
    • Knows how to facilitate and manage meetings
    • Knows how to structure a negotiation
    • Knows how to structure a communication in order to communicate difficult and/or emotive content sensitively
    • Advanced communication skills (report writing, presentations, conferences, group situations)

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Degree qualification (BSc, BA, etc.)
    • 4 to 8 years post qualification experience in a similar environment
    • Generally manages medium to large projects (i.e., approximately 3,000 to 10,000 project hours with a team of 5 to 15 team members, an internal cost of £200,000 to £700,000, and a project duration of 4 to 12 months) of medium risk and complexity
    Work Environment
    • Office based with travel to client offices as necessary
    • International Travel required (only when necessary, mainly the job will be done from Romania)

    In the position of Project Manager, you will mainly be in charge of managing project deliveries including budgets and resources; assist in overall Projects resource planning; provide pre-contract assistance to the sales team; report to the Head of Projects; Work on Multiple projects.

    Detailed Job Description includes:

    1. Member of the Project Delivery Team:
    • Manage multiple client projects as directed by the Delivery Director against agreed budgets and timescales
    • Monitor all aspects of the project to ensure it meets company standards, methodologies and quality assurance guidelines
    • Control, monitor and report progress against plan and take corrective action as necessary in order to meet delivery obligations

    2. Preparing documentation
    • Prepare project initiation documents, project plans including resource estimates, timescales, dependencies and project budgets to company standards

    3. Customer Relationship management
    • Maintain and develop business relationships with assigned clients through project kick off meetings, and ongoing project meetings presenting a professional image
    • Ensure that appropriate after sales support is provided and that service levels and client perception remains high
    • Perform a liaison role between the client and company such that current and future opportunities are maximised

    4. Project Resource Management
    Ensure that projects are resourced correctly, reporting any resource conflicts to the Delivery Director
