C#/.NET Application Developer (1 year contract)

Job Qualifications:

-2+ years experience in C#, developing ASP.NET MVC 4 applications, web services and entity framework.
-2+ years experience with Javascript, CSS, HTML, and AJAX web programming.
-2+ years experience with MS SQL including database design and stored procedures.
-Experience developing and supporting internal applications.

Key skills:

-Very good knowledge of the relational databases, particularly in Microsoft Sql Server 2008/2012, experience in writing optimized and tuned TSql code with stored procedures, views and triggers.
-Good knowledge on the ASP.NET web services (SOAP and REST), Web API and JQuery.
-Proficient in creating Services and Endpoints using WCF (Windows Communication foundation) framework.
-Experience in object oriented analysis and design.
-Experience with ADO.NET.

Works under direct supervision from the Application Manager, Service Owner and Technical Lead to:

-Understand enhancements and bug fixes as requested by application end users.
-Produce work estimates in a sprint based agile planning process.
-Code and unit test functionality including web user interfaces, back end processing, data import and export functions, and web services.
-Participate in system and integration test as needed.
-Document formally architectural changes as needed.
-Support internal applications in the production environment.

Educational Requirements:
-BA or BS preferred.
