Shop Assistant (full time)

For our client, a German chain of coffee retailers and cafes, also known for its weekly-changing range of other products (clothing, household items, electronics and electrical appliances), we are recruiting a shop assistant on a full time schedule.

The mission of this role is to assist clients in finding the right products suited to their needs.

High-school degree
Relevant experience in a similar position in a shop
Experience in retail/hospitality (including use of bar-code machine and card swiping machine)
Positive problem solving and proactive attitude
Dynamic with a strong interest in fashion
Willing to work in varying shifts and extended store hours
Excellent public relation skills
Strong calculative and mathematical abilities.

What you will be doing

Handle goods, product placement, replenish shelves according to VM rules, price labeling, and product alarm setting;
Operate POS system, ensure proper payment process and use of payment machines;
Maintain tidiness and cleanliness in sales area and storage room.
