Message Broker Designer

We need expertise in the following key areas:

Skill set (required):

• Advanced knowledge of design patterns (MQ, SOA, DB);
• Advanced knowledge of WebSphere Message Broker;
• Advanced knowledge of WebSphere MQ;
• Experience in designing WMB apps;
• Experience in developing flows with: WebSphere Message Broker toolkit;
• Experience in shell scripting;
• Experience with UML diagrams;
• Good knowledge of XML DOM;
• Good knowledge of ESQL;
• Good knowledge of SQL;
• Good knowledge of rfhutil, MQExplorer administration tools;
• Familiar with Java language;
• Strong analytical and organizational skills;
• Attention to details;
• Ability to understand business processes;
• Very good written and spoken English communication skills.

Skill set (advantages)

• Experience with SolidDB;
• Experience with the Git, gerrit or another versioning control system;
• Experience with Rational Integration Tester;
• Experience with Jira or other defect management tools;
• Experience with WODM (WebSphere Operational Decision Management).

What will your role be?

• Design Solution and Components based on High Level Architecture, Design Principles and high level requirements;
• Liaise with Business Analysts, Dev and Test teams and other stakeholders for information;
• Document your design and update existing designs by creating and updating Integration Functional Designs, mapping documents and other related documentation;
• Explain design to the development team and drive successful implementation;
• Investigate design-related platform issues;
• Underlying Project Technology: WMB leveraging ESQL and MQ;
• Make Innovative use of Message Broker and Message Queue for a Payments Clearing application.
