Message Broker Developer

We need expertise in the following key areas:

IBM Message Broker: this is the core of the solution handling transformation, routing and validation. A developer is required to engineer the scalability required and ensure that the design is a clean as possible, based around ESQL.


Skill set required:

• Advanced knowledge of WebSphere Message Broker;
• Advanced knowledge of WebSphere MQ;
• Good knowledge of ESQL;
• Good knowledge of SQL;
• Proven Experience in developing flows with: WebSphere Message Broker toolkit;
• Experience in shell scripting;
• Familiar with Java language;
• Good knowledge of rfhutil, MQExplorer administration tools;
• Good knowledge of the unit tests for WebSphere Message broker;
• Strong analytical and organizational skills; attention to details;
• Ability to understand business processes;
• Very good written and spoken English communication skills;


Skill set (advantages):

• Experience with the Git, gerrit or other versioning control system;
• Experience with SolidDB;
• Experience with Rational Integration Tester;
• Experience with Jira or other defect management tools.

What will your role be?

• Actively participate in project Daily Meetings;
• Take part in all flow development life cycle phases;
• Develop functionalities according to defined signed off documents;
• Ensure high code quality by respecting code standard and testing components before delivering;
• Work closely with the Delivery Lead and Testers in order to deliver the tasks in time and with the expected quality.
