Requirements
Engineering degree
• Good knowledge of products and solutions within Industrial Automation Markets
• A well developed sense of customers business and there drivers
• Understands the unique value proposition of Honeywell’s offering
• Good knowledge of competitors’ solutions, value propositions, market strategies and position.
• Microsoft Office Tools and other business level applications;
• Technically minded and an Integrative Thinker. Able to think out of the box to create alternative solutions – inside and outside Honeywell scope of supply;
• Fluent in oral and written English. Other languages are beneficial (Spanish, Portuguese, French, Russian);
• Strong Team Player;
• Self motivated with good communication skills;
Proven organizational and self-motivation abilities;
• Ability to interact with a wide variety of customers in various countries;
• Has a hands on approach;
• Interpersonal skills;
• All levels of career development (Entry / Mid / Senior) in Automation and field Engineering;
•0 - 3 years experience in Process Automation, Electronics, Process Control, Telecommunication or Computer Science.
Goals
• Prepare and create responses to customer’s requests for proposals, estimates and information as directed sales and operations teams;
• Through experience and use of the necessary company resources: ensure a high rate of accuracy, deliver technical and economical solutions at the highest quality possible and continually seek out ways to improve the process and solution quality;
• Leverage systems and tools to accurately maintain estimates, proposals, requests, responses and supporting documentation.
Key Deliverables
• Complete technical and economical estimates as well as proposals within required timelines;
• Accurate portrayal of costs in the form of cost estimates;
• Advice to the Sales/Service Front Office Team on technical and commercial alternatives that ensure lowest compliant bid while providing highest value to the customer;
• Proposals and Estimates captured through the use of Siebel.
Responsibilities
• Full proposal and costing of: All Honeywell hardware and software, “One Honeywell” content other Third party content, etc. for All LSS efforts, all projects <$2M;
• Expedite and coordinate responses from internal departments (Service, Contract, Procurement) to complete tenders as required;
• Contribute to institutional learning and “favorites” with the full use of estimating tools to maximize sharing and to ensure consistency with the rest of the organization;
• Coordinate internal process such as R&O, eGAP for a given bid or proposal;
• Ensure all Honeywell proposals and sales project files are in accordance with Honeywell standards and processes;
• Thoroughly understands and follows company policies to minimize Honeywell’s exposure to risk and ethics violations;
• Maintain high level of knowledge of the marketplace, technology and application trends;
• Clear concise communications with Sales, Service & Front Office Estimator.
Day shift 09:00 AM to 05:30 PM Bucharest time
