DataWarehouse Test Specialist

The company comprises 2 divisions specialized on its core capabilities: ENGINEERING and IT. These two divisions are: ALTEN TECHNO and ALTEN IT.

• Programming: Shell Scripting, PL/SQL
• ISTQB foundation certification in Software testing (or equivalent) as a minimum
• Unix Fundamentals
• Working knowledge of Test Management tools (HP Quality Centre/ALM preferably)
• Knowledge of structured test methods and processes
• Detailed knowledge of testing methodologies
• Work experience with PL/SQL
• Understand DataWarehouse concepts and functionality
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Advanced English

• Undertake the code from the developers and test its functionality and accuracy
• Review development sources
• Back-end: verify the code
• Front-end: create reports for the business line
• Responsible for the production of detailed test plans, test cases and test scripts in the DataWarehouse
• Create detailed Functional (System, Integration and Regression) test plans, test cases and test scripts ensuring all requirements are included in scope
• Execute the tests ensuring all results and defects are documented using the test methodology
• Responsible for the production of all testing deliverables and execution of tests to agreed milestones and quality

• Databases: Oracle
• UNIX
• PL/SQL
