We are looking for a capable and experienced optician for development of optical and electro-optical modules for driver assistance systems As Optician your main responsibilities and tasks will be: Development
* Customer engineering requirements analyze
* Concept and development of optical, series components for infrared sensors
* Optical simulation
* Analysis and evaluation of robustness and performance
* Definition and analysis of how optical sensor are fitted in the car Component evaluation
* Measurement and characterization of optical and electro-optical components and modules
* Validation and testing of optical and electro-optical modules as well as optical sensors
* Creation of statical analysis and documentation of analysis results
* Construction, build documentation and characteristics of prototypes
* Material characteristics (ex: windshield) Series support
* Participation in production - and yield-optimization measures
* Return analysis
* Support for industrial engineering and production segment Supplier Management
* Support of external and internal service provider and partners
* Creation of supplier specifications
* Supplier selection
* Supplier support
* University Degree (Physics, Mechanics or Mechatronics)
* 2-4 years professional experience in Infra Red Optics area
* Good knowledge of Measurement Technology, special focus in automotive development and production of optical sensors
* Optical and IR Sensoric Know-how
* Knowledge of optical light simulation and concept definition
* Knowledge of Zemax and/or SPEOS software would be an advantage
* Planning and Organization
* Capability to take initiative
* Understanding of the customers and users needs and problems
* Communication skills
* Good language skills (English, German is a plus)
