    Requirements

    Systematic understanding of C&B area and systems, as well as other HR functions.
    · Knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment that relates to employee compensation and benefits.
    · Strong communication, leadership, and influencing skills.
    · Solid financial and business acumen, very good with numbers
    · Strong project management, problem solving, and analytical skills.
    · Advanced MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills
    · Fluent English - strong verbal and written communication
    · Strong sense of customer, proactive, enthusiastic to learn and self-motivated

    Experience:
    · First-level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred.
    · Typically 4-6 years related experience in compensation and benefits. Previous experience in finance, and/or human resources is an asset.

    Responsibilities

    This individual contributor role will support the Compensation and Benefits (C&B) needs of assigned countries in the Europe, Middle East and Africa sub-region (Romania), through close linkage with the country HR team, the country management team and also with the regional Compensation and Benefits teams.
    The job requires application of developed C&B knowledge to solve common and complex business issues, within established guidelines, and recommendation of appropriate alternatives. The post holder will work on problems/projects of diverse complexity and scope and will exercise independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution or determine the best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. He may act as a team or project leader, providing direction to team activities and facilitating information validation and team decision making process. The ability to appropriately handle most unique situations is important, including recognizing the need for advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues.

    Key areas of responsibilities include:
    · Understanding the company C&B strategy, plus maintaining very good knowledge of the local market and local C&B practices within the IT / high-tech industry
    · Applying specialized C&B knowledge across multiple areas to implement programs and initiatives and contribute to program design, in close cooperation with the Country HR Manager and the Country Management Team, as with the regional Compensation and Benefits teams
    · Developing relationships with key business and functional leaders and providing the necessary C&B consultancy to the HR team and the country management
    · Contributing to compensation or benefits projects that impact employees in multiple countries and/or businesses.
    · Accountability for impact analysis of compensation and benefits programs and initiatives.
    · Analyzing survey, employee and financial data to summarize findings, draw conclusions and make recommendations on C&B programs to project teams
    · Developing and implementing solutions based on the company C&B strategy knowledge, local market knowledge and the local business needs
    · Managing the C&B function within a country by aligning local programs with overall compensation and benefits strategy
    · Managing and supporting benefits delivery including partnering with vendors.
    · Conducting due diligence and analysis, and submitting recommendations for Mergers, Acquisitions, Divestitures and Outsourcing transactions
